1Do I have to be a licensed real estate Agent to join Platinum Advantage?

Yes. You are required to have a real estate license in the state of Washington to join Platinum Advantage. Visit Washington State Department of Licensing for more information.

2Will I need to renew my real estate license every two years?

Yes. To keep a current active real estate license in the state of Washington you must renew your license every two years.

3Does my Washington state real estate license have to be active status?

Yes. Your license must be active status.

4Will I need to complete the Washington state required continuing education courses?

Yes. To renew an active license with Washington state you will need to complete continuing education courses.

5Can I hang my license with Platinum Advantage and another Real Estate firm?

No. Washington law states you can only hang your license with one firm. Your license can only be associated with Platinum Advantage.

6Will I be required to join multiple listing services or Realtor® organizations?

No. The good news about joining Platinum Advantage is you will not have these added expenses associated with running a full-scale real estate business.

7Is there a fee to join Platinum Advantage?

Yes. There is a monthly fee of $25, billed quarterly to join the program.

8How much will I be paid for my referrals?

Associates are paid through referrals at a 70/30 split – 70% paid to the associate. Check out the transaction samples to see how it works.

TRANSACTION EXAMPLES

How the referral process works.

You refer a client to an agent and negotiate a 25% referral fee.

The agent helps the client find their dream home and closes the transaction for $200,000.

The agent negotiated a 3% commission totaling $6,000 on the sale. You are paid 70% of the referral fee totaling $1,050.

You refer a client to an agent you know specializes in land sales.

The client and agent find the perfect property for $175,000 and complete a successful transaction.

The agent receives a 4% commission totaling $7,000. You negotiated a 25% referral fee.  You are paid 70% of the referral fee or $1,225.

You have a friend moving to another state and they ask if you can help them find a real estate agent.

You find a great agent and give them your friends information and negotiate a 25% referral fee.

Five months later your friends close on their $550,000 home with the agent you set them up with.

The agent receives a 2.5% commission totaling $13,750. You are paid 70% or $2,406 for your referral.
